Prodigal
Hitchhiking
Nashville Fats has never been associated with dance clubs and Electronic House music. Thanks to Jas on the Hooj label all that is about to change. Phillip Jason is the artistic talent behind Jas (pronounced "jazz"). Hitchhiking features the voice, harmonica, and lyrics of Nashville Fats and the infectious dance beat by Jas.

You need to hear this song to truly appreciate what Jas has created. Jas took Fat's harmonica and gave it a whole new sound. Even Balaam's Donkey is dancing to this techno tribal mix (trust us - a dancing donkey is not a pretty sight).

Prodigal Son is the original song by Nashville Fats that Jas used for Hitchhiking. It is a timeless story of a child leaving the farm for distant lands in search of a good time and the worried parent back home. If you are curious about the complete story be sure and give Prodigal Son a listen. Even if you are familar with the story be sure and listen to Fats' unique way of telling it.
